Doda, Mar 12 (JKNS): The Office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Doda, has issued instructions to all Zonal Education Officers in the district to ensure proper transfer of lands donated for school construction.

In a communique dated March 12, 2026, as per news agency JKNS, the CEO emphasized that lands donated by owners on affidavit for building school infrastructure must be formally transferred through the Revenue Authorities.

The directive also requires that a compliance report, confirming that the acquisition process has been initiated, should reach the CEO’s office within a week. The move aims to regularize school lands and prevent legal or administrative complications in the future.

The CEO’s office stated that this step is crucial to ensure that land donated for public education purposes is properly documented and formally acquired for the development of educational infrastructure in the district. (JKNS)
