More than 75 participants, including MSME entrepreneurs, local artisans, skilled youth, and small traders, attended the programme. The session aimed at spreading awareness about Udyam Registration and informing participants about various government schemes and support mechanisms available for micro, small and Medium enterprises.

On the occasion, the General Manager DIC, Lead District Manager Shopian, and Functional Manager DIC addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of formalizing enterprises through Udyam Registration to access institutional credit, government incentives, and market opportunities.

Participants were provided step-by-step guidance on the Udyam Registration process, including information on eligibility criteria, documentation, and benefits such as priority sector lending, marketing support, and ease of doing business.

An interactive session was also held during which participants shared their queries and challenges related to starting and managing enterprises, and officials provided on-the-spot clarifications.

An online helpdesk was also established during the programme to facilitate on-the-spot Udyam Registrations, enabling participants to complete their registration with the assistance of officials. (JKNS)
