“It has been decided to continue restrictions on Thursday as a precautionary step to ensure a peaceful atmosphere,” a senior official said, adding that the overall situation has largely remained peaceful.

A senior official further said that internet services will continue to remain restricted to 2G speed, while outgoing call services on prepaid mobile connections will remain suspended.
