In his message as per news agency JKNS, the Minister said that Holi, the vibrant festival of colours, symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood and good over evil. He noted that the festival, celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country, reinforces the spirit of unity, love, compassion and brotherhood among communities and strengthens the bonds of togetherness in society.

Satish Sharma highlighted that Jammu and Kashmir has always been a shining example of communal harmony and composite culture, where festivals of all faiths are celebrated with mutual respect and shared joy. He said that Holi offers an opportunity to renew relationships, forgive past differences and move forward with a spirit of positivity and cooperation.

“May the colours of Holi fill our lives with hope, optimism and renewed energy. Let this festival inspire us to rise above divisions and work collectively for the peace, prosperity and overall development of Jammu and Kashmir,” the Minister stated.

The Minister also urged citizens, especially the youth, to celebrate the festival in a responsible and eco-friendly manner, promoting water conservation and avoiding any practices that may cause inconvenience or harm to others.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining public order and ensuring that celebrations reflect the true spirit of the festival.

Reaffirming the Government’s commitment to inclusive growth and welfare, Satish Sharma expressed hope that the festival would usher in an era of progress, social cohesion and shared prosperity for all sections of society.

He prayed for the well-being, happiness and success of the people and extended his best wishes for a safe and joyous Holi to all. (JKNS)
