Srinagar, Feb 28 (JKNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended his congratulations to the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for scripting history by clinching their first-ever Ranji Trophy crown, describing the victory as a landmark achievement for the Union Territory.
In a message shared on X, as per news agency JKNS, the Prime Minister commended the squad for displaying exceptional determination, discipline and passion throughout the tournament.
He said the historic win underscores the rising sporting culture and immense talent emerging from Jammu and Kashmir, adding that the achievement has filled the people of the region with pride.
