LG Manoj Sinha Receives Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan at Srinagar Airport

Srinagar, Feb 25 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday received the Vice President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, at Srinagar Airport on his arrival for a two-day visit to Kashmir.

According to a post shared by the Office of the LG J&K on X, as per news agency JKNS, the Lieutenant Governor welcomed the Vice President upon his arrival in the Valley.

Amid the high-profile visit, stringent security arrangements were put in place across Srinagar, especially along the Airport Road and other strategic locations, to ensure smooth movement. Senior officials from the civil administration and police were present at the airport to receive the Vice President.

 

Meanwhile, the Traffic Police has issued an advisory for February 26 to regulate vehicular movement in view of the scheduled events and to ensure hassle-free conduct of the programme.

 

The Vice President later proceeded to Lok Bhawan, Srinagar, and is slated to attend the 21st Convocation of the University of Kashmir on February 26, 2026. (JKNS)
