Bharat Darshan Study Tour 2026: Participants Interact With SSB DG in New Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 7 (JKNS): As part of the Bharat Darshan Study Tour 2026, the participants had an inspiring and memorable interaction with the Hon’ble Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal, Sanjay Singhal, IPS, at New Delhi.

The students displayed great enthusiasm and keen interest while interacting with the Director General, reflecting their curiosity and respect for the role of Sashastra Seema Bal in safeguarding the nation.

Addressing the students, Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, spoke in detail about the vision and spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, emphasizing national unity, cultural integration, and mutual respect among the diverse regions of India. He congratulated the students on the successful completion of the Bharat Darshan Study Tour 2026 and encouraged them to imbibe the values of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility in their lives. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Director General also presented mementos and gifts to the participants as a mark of encouragement. The interaction concluded with a High Tea hosted by the Hon’ble Director General, during which the participants interacted informally with senior officers and other dignitaries of Sashastra Seema Bal.

Earlier, Shri Amit Kumar Mishra, Assistant Commandant, 10th Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal, Srinagar, briefed about the study tour and stated that the participants commenced their journey from Srinagar and travelled to Jaipur, Rajasthan, where they stayed for two days. During their stay in Jaipur, the students visited Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace Jaipur, Jal Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Nahargarh Fort, and Jaigarh Fort, and also had an interaction with the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, who spoke about the vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and the importance of national unity.

After Jaipur, the participants proceeded to Udaipur for two days, where they visited City Palace Udaipur, Sajjangarh Fort, Pichola Lake, and the Biological Park, gaining insights into the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of the region. Thereafter, the students travelled to New Delhi and spent two days visiting India Gate, Red Fort, National Railway Museum, National Science Centre, Nehru Planetarium, and the Lotus Temple, enriching their understanding of India’s history, science, and cultural diversity.

Advocate Syed Junaid, Chairman, Saving the Future NGO, highlighted the importance of such educational tours for students, stating that these experiences help build a strong sense of nationalism, enhance creativity among children, and broaden their outlook. He reiterated that initiatives like Bharat Darshan play a vital role in nurturing informed, creative, and responsible citizens, aligned with the vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

The Bharat Darshan Study Tour 2026 proved to be a meaningful and transformative experience for the participants, fostering patriotism, cultural awareness, and a deeper sense of unity and national integration. (JKNS)
