Delhi LG Clears Deputation of Two IAS Officers to Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 31 (JKNS): The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Vinai Kumar Saxena, has relieved two IAS officers to enable them to take up their new assignments in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

In an order issued by Delhi secretariate a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS stated that, In pursuance of Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs 14020/04/2022-UTS.I dated 04.01.2026, Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Delhi is pleased to order relieving of the following IAS officers from Government of NCT of Delhi with effect from 31.01.2026 (A/N) to enable these officers to take up their new assignment.

Both IAS officers, Anjali Sehrawat and Kumar Abhishek have been officially relieved from their postings in the Delhi Government.

Anjali Sehrawat, a 2013-batch IAS officer, was holding the charge of Director Higher Education and Director Tourism, Trade and Transport (TT&T) in Delhi, while Kumar Abhishek, a 2016-batch officer, was serving as Deputy Commissioner, Outer North Delhi. (JKNS)
