Jammu, Jan 25 (JKNS): The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been partially restored, with authorities currently carrying out clearance of stranded vehicles between the NAVYUG Tunnel and Nashri Tunnel, officials said on Sunday.

An official from traffic Department told news agency JKNS, that the Mughal Road, Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumri (SSG) Road and Sinthan Road continue to remain closed for vehicular movement due to adverse weather and road conditions.

Traffic authorities have urged commuters not to pay heed to rumours and to rely only on official updates for road status. People have been advised to check the latest traffic situation through the Traffic Police social media platforms or Traffic Control Units (TCUs).
