Govt. Posts Er. Farooq A. Wani in SKIMS with Additional Charge

Srinagar, Jan 16 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has posted Er. Farooq Ahmad Wani, Superintending Engineer, presently working in the office of Engineer-in-Chief, Public Works (R&B) Department, and assigned him additional charge to supervise/coordinate developmental works at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura.

The order issued by the Public Works (R&B) Department, Civil Secretariat as per news agency JKNS reads, “In the interest of administration, patient care and smooth functioning of the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, it is hereby ordered that Er. Farooq Ahmad Wani, Superintending Engineer, presently working in the office of Engineer-in-Chief shall supervise/coordinate the developmental works at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences.”

Meanwhile, the employees of SKIMS have hailed the decision and warmly welcomed Er. Farooq A. Wani.

It is pertinent to mention that Er. Farooq A. Wani has served at SKIMS for a long period and held several key positions, including Superintending Engineer (IT), SKIMS. His contribution towards the development and strengthening of the Information Technology Department at SKIMS has been significant.

The IT Department continues to serve as a vital backbone for patient operations, hospital services, and multiple clinical and administrative departments of the Institute. (JKNS)
