Karnah, Jan 9 (JKNS): All India Kashmiri Samaj Regd. (AIKS) has taken strong exception to what it termed as an unethical and immoral statement made by Leader of Opposition Atishi Marlena during the ongoing Delhi State Assembly session, allegedly degrading Guru Teg Bahadur Ji and other Sikh Gurus.

In a statement issued by AIKS, the apex body of Kashmiri Pandits demanded strict action against the LoP, including her arrest, stating that her remarks have deeply hurt the religious sentiments of the Pandit community.

“Guru Teg Bahadur Ji is the saviour of Kashmiri Pandits, and we strongly demand the arrest of Atishi over her disrespectful comments made on the floor of the Assembly. The Delhi Government should immediately register an FIR and take strict action so that religious sentiments are not hurt,” said Ravinder Pandita, President AIKS, while talking to KNS.

He further warned that if the Delhi Government fails to register an FIR, AIKS would be forced to initiate legal proceedings and file an FIR against Atishi, the Leader of Opposition from AAP, on its own. (JKNS)
