Jammu, Jan 3 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle of senior officers, with Mohammad Wasim Shah being posted as DSP, SOG Budgam, following the completion of his Basic/District Practical Training.
The order was issued by Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat, as per news agency JKNS, the transfer exercise also saw Sh Mohammad Idress Wani (KPS135819) move from DSP SOG Budgam to DSP 12 JKAP, while Sh Mohd Rafi Parray (EXK931959) has been shifted from DSP DAR Srinagar to DSP EOW Srinagar.
Additionally, Sh Nazir Ahmed Teli (EXK952277), who was awaiting posting at HQ, has been assigned as DSP DAR Srinagar, and Sh Omparkash (ARP985548) has been transferred from DSP PHQ to SDPO Basohli.
All officers have been directed to report and assume charge immediately. The reassignments are part of administrative measures aimed at strengthening police functioning and ensuring operational efficiency across key units in the Union Territory. (JKNS)
