10th Battalion SSB Srinagar Celebrates 62nd Raising Day, Honours Brave Personnel

Srinagar, Dec 20 (JKNS): The 10th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Srinagar, on Saturday extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all personnel of the force on the occasion of its 62nd Raising Day.

Speaking on the occasion as per news agency JKNS, officials highlighted that serving the nation with dedication remains the SSB’s supreme duty. “The force’s selfless commitment, devotion, and professional excellence in safeguarding borders, maintaining peace in border areas, and conducting welfare-oriented activities are highly commendable and truly inspiring,” they said.

Upholding its motto, “Service, Security and Brotherhood,” the SSB continues to discharge its responsibilities in border security, disaster management, and civic action with unwavering commitment.

To mark the 62nd Raising Day, 10 Bn SSB Srinagar organized several programmes, including the Guard of Honour taken by Sh. Dalbir Singh, Second-in-Command and Officiating Commandant.

The celebrations also featured distribution of sweets among personnel, a friendly cricket match organized by Saving The Future (NGO), Srinagar, between the Battalion and Kathidarwaza Eleven, and a community ‘Bada Khana.’

The 10 Bn SSB appreciated the dedication of its personnel and conveyed best wishes for continued success in future challenges. (JKNS)
