Kupwara Man Dies in Srinagar-Jammu Highway Accident, Two Rescued

Ramban, Nov 18 (JKNS): A 48-year-old man from Kupwara died while two others were rescued on Tuesday after a tragic accident occurred on Tuesday when a truck skidded off the road and tumbled into a deep gorge at Nachlana along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

Officials told news agency JKNS that Quick Response Teams (QRT), Ramban Police, and 23 RR personnel swiftly responded, rescuing two individuals trapped in the vehicle amid the difficult terrain.

The deceased was identified as 48-year-old Ab Majeed Lone son of Mohd Maqbool Lone resident of Kupwara.

Authorities have registered the case and launched further investigation. (JKNS)
