Srinagar, Nov 17 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat, accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, on Monday reached Gazaliabad HMT to visit the home of Senior Grade Constable Ajaz Ahmad Mir, who was among the nine policemen killed in the devastating Nowgam Police Station blast.
As per news agency JKNS, that the senior officers met the grieving family members and conveyed condolences on behalf of the entire Police Department.
While speaking to the media, DGP Prabhat said the force stands united with the families of all personnel who lost their lives in the tragic incident. “We will never forget their sacrifice,” he remarked, assuring that every possible assistance will be extended to the affected families.
He added that he had urged the bereaved families to remain patient and assured them that the police administration is coordinating all necessary support for the families of the nine fallen personnel. (JKNS)
