JK Education : Transformation towards Empowerment.

The education system in J and K has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years. To improve the quality of education government has implemented various initiatives that align with the national education policy 2020 (Nep-2020), which focuses on comprehensive evalvation rather than rote learning. . under the new system, students are assessed through formative and summative evaluation, combining classroom participation, project work, practical skills, and written examination. Experts believe the implementation of the new education policy is a vital step towards building a student-centered education system that will nurture students.

The J and K have witnessed a new era of transformation shaped by progressive policies aimed at improving quality and inclusivity in the education system. The implementation of NEP-2020 and digital education initiatives under Samagra Shiksha revolutionized teaching methods.
