Muhammad Qais Claims Double Title at J&K Soft Tennis Championship

rinagar, Sep 29 (JKNS): Young talent Mohammad Qais secured a remarkable double victory at the 9th J&K (UT) Level Soft Tennis Championship by winning gold medals in both the Singles U-14 and Doubles U-14 categories.

The championship was organised by the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India under the banner of the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, from September 27 to 29, 2025.

Qais was felicitated by Chief Guest Nazim Khan (IAS) and Ms Anisa Nabi (JKAS) in the presence of G.N. Raja, Chairman, and Dr Gh. Hassan, Member of the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India.

Officials congratulated the young champion, calling his achievement a proud moment and an inspiration for aspiring athletes across the Union Territory. (JKNS)
