Named in the report are Vinod Sharma, former Vice Chairman of JDA; Mamta Sharma, his wife; the late Naib Tehsildar Ghany Sham; and retired Patwari Rishi Kumar. The case stems from a verification by the then Vigilance Organization (now ACB) into allegations of illegal allotment of Plot No. 42, Sector-1A, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, and the illicit appropriation of an additional 4,300 sq ft of land by Mamta Sharma.

Investigators allege that the accused colluded with JDA officers and officials, abusing their positions to facilitate the allotment and encroachment of land in Trikuta Nagar.

The Special Judge Court has scheduled the next hearing for December 15, 2025. (JKNS)
