He noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s universal health coverage initiative, every citizen of J&K is entitled to ₹5 lakh health insurance, ensuring access to better medical care.

Sinha further said that new super-specialty hospitals, medical colleges, and private health institutions have greatly strengthened the healthcare system across Jammu as well as Kashmir.

The LG expressed hope that the newly inaugurated hospital will deliver world-class eye care services and emphasized the importance of conducting outreach programmes in rural and border areas. (JKNS)
