Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, reviewed the historic Diamond Jubilee Passing Out Parade at the NCC Officers Training Academy, Gwalior, where 131 Lady Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) proudly took the oath on completing their rigorous training.

The momentous occasion not only celebrated six decades of shaping future leaders but also showcased the growing power of Nari Shakti in the nation’s defence and social fabric.

The Army Commander complimented the NCC officers on their discipline and resilience, underscoring the evolving role of women in society and the Armed Forces. He also highlighted the significance of Nari Shakti in nation building.

In an inspiring address, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth urged the ANOs to embrace their vital role as Instructors, effectively shaping and moulding NCC cadets into responsible citizens, principled leaders and future citizen-warriors. He further highlighted the importance of NCC in developing the youth of the country, instilling in them the values of character, courage and integrity, in line with its motto of “Unity and Discipline.”

He exhorted the newly commissioned ANOs to harness their training, mentor the next generation and lead them to actively contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, reads the statement. (JKNS)
