Srinagar, Sep 11 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police on Thursday said that NH-44 has not been fully restored at Thard, allowing only one-way movement of light motor vehicles from Jammu towards Srinagar.
A traffic official as per news agency JKNS said Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road are open for traffic as per the prescribed cut-off timings and advisories.
The department cautioned commuters against violating the traffic plan, stressing that overtaking and lane indiscipline could lead to congestion.
“Please don’t pay heed to rumors. Road status can be verified at Traffic Police Twitter handle, Facebook page, or through TCUs at Jammu, Srinagar, and Ramban,” the advisory reads. (JKNS)
