On being asked about demands for convening a special session of the J&K Assembly on the Hazratbal incident and the slapping of PSA, Farooq said, “That decision rests entirely with the Speaker, he will decide it.”

The statement came after massive outcry erupted over the past week on the Dargah Hazratbal incident, where the emblem on the stone sparked public anger, along with the slapping of PSA on the Member of Legislative Assembly Mehraj Malik. (JKNS)
