New Delhi, Sep 10 (JKNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said India and the United States are “close friends and natural partners,” expressing confidence that the ongoing trade negotiations will open new avenues of cooperation between the two nations.
In response to US President Donald Trump’s remarks on bilateral trade, Modi in a post on X as per news agency JKNS said, “I am confident that our trade negotiations will pave the way for unlocking the limitless potential of the India-US partnership. Our teams are working to conclude these discussions at the earliest.”
PM Modi added that he looks forward to speaking with President Trump soon, stressing that both sides would “work together to secure a brighter, more prosperous future for both our people.”
Earlier, Donald Trump said that negotiations between India and the US are underway to resolve trade barriers, expressing optimism over their outcome. (JKNS)
