Srinagar, Sept 8 (JKNS): The traffic department on Monday morning said that vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) continues to remain suspended due to road blockages, while traffic is plying smoothly on Mughal Road, SSG Road and Sinthan Road as per the issued advisory.
Officials told news agency JKNS that restoration work on the highway is underway and commuters are advised not to undertake travel on NH-44 until the road is fully restored.
They further urged people not to pay heed to rumors and instead check the official status of roads from Traffic Control Units (TCUs) or through the Traffic Police’s official Twitter and Facebook handles. (JKNS)
