Srinagar, Aug 24 (JKNS): Authorities on Sunday announced the postponement of Class 10th and 11th examinations scheduled for August 25 across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, citing severe inclement weather conditions.
An official told news agency JKNS that fresh dates for the postponed exams will be issued separately by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
“All field officers have been directed to disseminate the information through their WhatsApp groups to ensure centre superintendents and jurisdictional police stations are duly informed,” the official said.
Jammu and Kashmir parts witnessed heavy rainfall from the past 24 hours with the meteorological department predicting more rains till evening. (JKNS)
