Kokernag, Aug 18 (JKNS): Authorities on Monday ordered the suspension of all types of vehicular movement through Margan Top and Sinthan Top in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions.
According to a weather advisory issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kokernag, the restrictions will remain in place until further orders as a precautionary measure to avoid untoward incidents. Officials cited slippery road conditions, apprehension of landslides, and poor visibility as reasons for the suspension.
The advisory, as per news agency JKNS, directed concerned authorities to ensure strict compliance and regulate movement accordingly. “General public is requested to cooperate and avoid travelling on these routes till further orders,” the notice read.
People have been urged to exercise caution, while traffic and police authorities have been asked to enforce the order strictly. (JKNS)
