​Kathua Deputy Commissioner Cancels All Govt Employee Leaves Due to Heavy Rains

​Kathua, Aug 18 (JKNS): The Deputy Commissioner of Kathua has ordered the cancellation of all sanctioned leaves for government employees in the district, effective immediately, as the region grapples with heavy rains and a flood-like situation.

​According to an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, JKAS, all types of leaves, with the exception of medical leave, for government employees across all departments in Kathua have been canceled. The order, accessed by news agency JKNS, also states that no new leave applications will be considered without the DC’s prior approval.
