Bandipora, Aug 17 (JKNS): Security forces on Sunday apprehended two terrorist associates in the Sumbal-Nowgam area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
An official told news agency JKNS, said that the duo was intercepted during a joint operation and taken into custody along with the seized weaponry.
He added that a case has been registered in this regard and investigations have been initiated to ascertain their identity and possible links. “Further details will be shared as the probe progresses,” the officer said. (JKNS)
