Srinagar, Aug 17 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the bi-annual examinations for classes 10th and 11th scheduled to be held tomorrow, August 18, across J&K UT as well as in Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh UT.
In a statement issued here news agency JKNS reads that, Bi-annual Board examination scheduled for tomorrow on 18th August, 2025 for 10th and 11th classes are postponed across J& K UT as well as in Leh and Kargil of Ladakh UT.
New dates will be notified separately. Pls make sure all the centre superintendents are intimated as well as jurisdictional SHOs, it reads.
The decision was taken following the closure of all schools in Kathua district by the Deputy Commissioner in view of inclement weather and cloudburst incidents, statement reads.
“The step was necessitated purely in the interest of student safety,” statement reads.
The inevitable decision got necessitated following closure- orders of all schools in Kathua by DM in the interest of student- safety in the wake of inclement weather and cloudburst in the district, it reads.
