Following the flag hoisting, Army officers engaged the young children in motivational talks, focusing on Operation Sindoor and the role of youth in ensuring the country’s future success. The interaction was designed to instill discipline, patriotism, and a sense of responsibility among the youngsters living in these strategically important border areas.

To make the occasion memorable for the children, the Army organized a special movie screening of Sky Force. The screening was met with excitement and joy, providing entertainment while subtly reinforcing messages of courage, teamwork, and dedication.

In keeping with the tradition of fostering camaraderie and goodwill, a Badakhana (community feast) was organized for the local children. Soldiers and villagers sat together, sharing a meal in an atmosphere filled with warmth, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness. The initiative not only celebrated the nation’s independence but also emphasized the Army’s commitment to the welfare and happiness of the people residing in the remote and often challenging border regions.

Army officials stated that such engagements help in building trust, deepening ties, and creating a platform for the youth to learn and grow with a sense of national pride. Local villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Mandi Battalion for their constant support, protection, and for involving them in the celebrations of this historic day.

The event concluded with patriotic songs echoing through the hills, leaving behind cherished memories and a renewed determination among the villagers and children to contribute to the nation’s strength and unity.
