“Mann ki Baat” serves as a platform for the Prime Minister to showcase inspiring stories and grassroots achievements from across the country. It covers a wide range of topics, including education, health, environment, and social service, and aims to foster a sense of collective participation in nation-building.

The program’s success is attributed to its multi-platform approach, which includes both traditional and digital media:

Radio and TV: It is broadcast live on Akashvani’s national and regional networks and telecast on Doordarshan channels. Regional language versions ensure a broad reach.

Digital Platforms: The program has seen a significant expansion in its digital audience. It is live-streamed on YouTube channels, Prasar Bharati’s OTT platform WAVES, and the “NewsOnAIR” mobile app. The program is also widely shared on social media platforms like Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.

Citizens can actively participate by submitting suggestions and voice messages for the program via the MyGov portal, fostering a two-way dialogue between the Prime Minister and the public. In rural areas and institutional settings, collective listening and viewing sessions are often organized to encourage community discussion and civic awareness.
