Srinagar Police Issues Helpline for Victims of Terrorism to Address Pending Grievances

Srinagar, July 15 (JKNS): In a significant outreach initiative, the District Police Srinagar has launched dedicated helpline numbers for victims of terrorism, offering a direct channel to report long-pending grievances related to government benefits, FIR registration, and property disputes.

As per the official notice as per news agency JKNS, any individual affected by terrorism can call the helpline between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on working days for assistance regarding the following issues, it reads.

Non-registration of FIRs in cases involving terrorism victims. Non-receipt of government-sanctioned benefits. Encroachment or harassment related to land or property. The helpline numbers issued by the police are 9541903082 and 9596222551.

In addition, those who wish to submit a formal grievance application can do so via email at: [email protected]

This step comes in line with ongoing efforts by the administration to support justice and welfare for victims of terrorism, and ensure that their voices are heard without delay. (JKNS)
