Minister Sakina Itoo Reviews Yatra 2025 Arrangements in Pahalgam, Calls for Timely Completion of Works

Anantnag, June 17 (JKNS): Minister for Heath and medical education Sakina Masood Itoo on Tuesday conducted a detailed review of the ongoing arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025 at Pahalgam.

Details available with news agency JKNS stated that the minister was accompanied by MLA Pahalgam, Altaf Kaloo, Director Health Services Kashmir, and other senior officials from various departments.

During the inspection, the Minister took stock of key infrastructure and logistical works being undertaken for smooth conduct of the Yatra.

Issuing firm directives to concerned departments, the Minister instructed that all ongoing works must be completed well within the stipulated deadlines. “There must be no delay or laxity. All departments must coordinate effectively to ensure pilgrims face no inconvenience,” she said.

She further directed the Health Department to make the Pahalgam Hospital fully operational in the coming days, so it can adequately cater to both pilgrims and the local population during the Yatra period.

The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring safety, sanitation, medical facilities, and all essential services are in place for a hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
