Govt Forms Contract Committee for Lal Ded Hospital Expansion Work

Srinagar, June 17 (JKNS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a dedicated Contract Committee under the Public Works (R&B) Department for awarding the contract related to the construction of an additional Gynecology block at Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar.

According to Government Order a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, In terms of S.O 15 of 2020 dated 09.01.2020 of the Finance Department, sanction is hereby accorded to constitution of the Contract Committee, comprising the following, for awarding contract for the work “construction of Lal Ded Hospital (Addition Gynecology block) Srinagar.”

The committee will be chaired by the Administrative Secretary of the Public Works (R&B) Department, and will include senior officials from various engineering and finance wings. The full committee comprises, Director General Codes, Finance Department, Engineer-in-Chief, Public Works (R&B), Chief Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Central Kashmir, Chief Engineer, Design Inspections & Quality Control, Chief Engineer, Mechanical & Hospital Directorate, Kashmir, Director, Planning Development & Monitoring Department, Director Finance, Public Works (R&B), order reads.

It is further ordered that the mandate of the committee shall be for all the individual works above ₹40Cr. to be executed by the department, reads the order. (JKNS)
