Shopian Prepares for Janbhagidari Abhiyan; Officials Briefed on Service Delivery Goals

Shopian, June 6, 2025 — As part of the nationwide Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, the District Administration Shopian initiated the team formation process for the upcoming Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps scheduled from June 15 to June 30, 2025.

A district-level orientation programme was convened today under the chairmanship of Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone (JKAS), Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian. The programme aimed to sensitise the teams constituted at District, Block and GP/Village levels about the objectives and Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) of the campaign.

During the session, field teams were briefed on conducting baseline surveys to identify critical gaps in service delivery and promote evidence-based planning. Emphasis was placed on achieving saturation of key welfare schemes including Aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat, PM-KISAN, and PMAY-G for tribal communities.

Among others, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Shopian, Sh. Manzoor Ahmad Mir, and Block Development Officer Keller, Shakil Bhat, were present and actively participated in the orientation proceedings.
