Chinar Corps Commander reviews security in Warwan Valley

Srinagar: Army’s Srinagar based Chinar Corps Commander on Wednesday reviewed security arrangements in the remote and strategically vital Warwan Valley, bordering south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

During his visit, the Corps Commander interacted with the local populace, listening to their concerns and gathering valuable feedback to further enhance civil-military cooperation in the region.

“Chinar Corps Commander reviewed security arrangements in the Warwan Valley region and engaged with locals to address their concerns as well as to gather insights,” Army Chinar Corps said on X.

“Commending troops for their unwavering dedication, he emphasised upon the need for continued vigilance for safeguarding the area as well as to render assistance to civil community in the remote region,” it added.

Warwan valley, located in the Kishtwar district of Jammu, is strategically important from a security perspective. UNI
