Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Tuesday convened a comprehensive meeting to review the progress on implementation of e-Office 2.0 in the district.
DC emphasized the importance of adopting e-Office in letter and spirit across the district to ensure transparency, efficiency and timely disposal of official correspondence and files.
She directed the concerned officers to expedite the operationalisation of e-Office at Block and Tehsil levels without further delay. All the departments were directed to submit the details of the staff to NIC for onboarding of the officials for e-office 2.0.
District Informatics Officer was directed to assess and address any infrastructure gaps urgently and was also directed for redressal of technical issues faced during the operationalisation process by the departments.
Ayushi enjoined the officers to make collaborative efforts to ensure implementation of e-office across all blocks and tehsils within the stipulated time frame. She warned the departments about strict action in case of deliberate delaying in the implementation process.
All the district officers and other concerned were present on the occasion.
