Udhampur: Authorities on Sunday issued a strong rebuttal against a viral social media video claiming that unidentified persons are residing in huts near the Air Force Station Udhampur without police or civil verification.
In a clarification issued to news agency JKNS, officials said the video being circulated is outdated and has recently been re-uploaded to mislead the public. “A thorough investigation was conducted, and it was found that there is no such encampment or unauthorized presence at the location in question. The area is completely clear,” the statement said.
Authorities have also attached a fresh video of the location confirming that no such activity is currently taking place. Citizens are urged not to fall for misinformation and to report such misleading content to concerned authorities. (JKNS)
