Baijnath, May 19: Baijnath Paprola Railway Station in Himachal Pradesh has been redeveloped and modernized under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, a national initiative aimed at transforming 1309 railway stations across India with state-of-the-art facilities and improved infrastructure.

Located on the Pathankot-Jogindernagar narrow-gauge railway line under the Jammu Division of Northern Railway, the Baijnath Paprola station lies in the scenic Kangra district. It serves as an important transit point for pilgrims visiting major religious sites such as Baijnath Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva), Chintpurni Temple (dedicated to Goddess Durga), Jwalamukhi Temple (known for its eternal flames), Kangra Fort, and the ancient rock-cut Masrur Temple.
