New Delhi: In stringent steps against Pakistan in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack, India on Wednesday declared the Defence/Military, Naval and Air Advisors in the Pakistani High Commission here as Persona Non Grata and gave them a week to leave the country.

Briefing the media after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said India would be withdrawing its own Defence/Navy/Air Advisors from the country’s High Commission in Islamabad, deeming these posts in the respective High Commissions as annulled.
