Apart from expediting the case filed by the Tamil Nadu government in the Apex Court in

July 2023 against NEET, it was also decided that if needed, a fresh case would be filed

in the Supreme Court against the Centre’s refusal to give assent to the NEET exemption

Bill after holding consultations with legal experts.
