The daring act as per news agency JKNS was halted when law enforcement intercepted the individual at the next station.

The person has been identified as a student Arafat Ashiq Mir Son of Ashiq Hussain Mir R/o Booch Hamrey Age 18 years.

Appropriate legal proceedings have been initiated against him for endangering his own safety and potentially that of others.

Authorities have since issued a stern advisory, urging the public—particularly the youth—to abstain from engaging in such perilous and thoughtless activities.

A spokesperson for the Railway Police emphasized, “Such stunts not only jeopardize human lives but also disrupt public safety. Strict action under the law will be enforced against violators to deter such behavior in the future.”

This incident serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of responsible conduct, especially in environments as unforgiving as a moving train.

The Railway Police remain vigilant, committed to upholding safety and order on the rails.—(JKNS)
