Police Conducts Exam on New Criminal Laws in Handwara

Srinagar: Police in Handwara on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive examination across all police establishments to assess the understanding and preparedness of its personnel.
The examination, held at multiple police stations and units within the Police district, aimed to ensure that officers are well-versed with the updated legal framework, enabling them to enforce the law effectively and uphold justice in accordance with the latest provisions.
The SSP Handwara Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhury emphasized the importance of continuous training and evaluation to adapt to legislative changes. He said that this examination is a proactive step to enhance the professional competence of our force and ensure seamless transition to the new criminal justice system.
The initiative has been widely appreciated for its role in promoting accountability and legal awareness among police personnel.
