Shopian : A meeting of District Ayush Society Shopian was on Wednesday held at Mini Secretariat, Shopian in order to approve the District Annual Action Plan (DAAP) for the next financial year, 2025-26.
The meeting was chaired by the Additional District Development Commisioner (ADDC), Shopian, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone.
District Nodal Ayush Officer, Dr. Javid on the occasion presented the activity and component wise allocation of this year and the proposed new Annual Action Plan for next year, 2025-26.
The committee after thorough deliberation and scrutiny of item wise proposals approved the District Annual Action Plan comprising diverse range of activities for strengthening the Ayush sector in the district.
Notable in the new Plan include the setting up of Integrated Ayush Hospital in Shopian with 50 Bed Capacity along with establishment of Herbal Gardens at Dachoo and Kaprin, repairs and renovation of Ayush Health and Wellness Centres at Heerpora and Sedow, new Ayush Dispensaries in Mashwara and Pratabpora among others.
The meeting was attended by various committee members including CMO, DPO, DFO, DSWO and other representatives of the department and Medical officers of Ayu
