Karnah– The residents of Jabri, a remote village near the Line of Control (LoC), are facing severe hardships as they remain without electricity and road connectivity for over a month. Located 24 kilometers from Tangdhar Subdivision, the village is grappling with daily struggles, which have intensified during the holy month of Ramadan.
A local resident, Waqar Mir, expressed his distress, stating that the village has had no electricity for the past month, disrupting daily life. The absence of lighting during Iftar and Suhoor has left residents in extreme difficulty.
Adding to their woes, Jabri’s main road has been blocked for a month, making travel impossible for patients, students, and locals. Essential supplies are running short, and patients are unable to reach hospitals on time due to poor connectivity.
Frustrated by the lack of response, the people of Jabri have made an urgent appeal to the administration to restore electricity and reopen the road. They have also warned of protests if their grievances are not addressed immediately.
The residents demand swift intervention from the authorities to alleviate their ongoing suffering and ensure basic amenities are restored before their situation worsens further.
