Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Thursday chaired a meeting at mini secretariat to review the status of under process court cases within the district.
The meeting discussed various cases pertaining to different departments and focused on addressing the issues related to departments.
The DC emphasized the need for timely and serious attention to all court cases from the initial stages. He urged the officers to ensure that proper replies are submitted, based on accurate records and genuine facts.
Qadri stressed the submission of responses for all under process cases within the stipulated time frame provided by the courts.
He also laid thrust on the importance of maintaining transparency and accountability in dealing with legal matters.
The DC directed officers to prioritize the court cases and adhere to deadlines set by the courts for submission of responses.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Zaffar Husson Shawl; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Litigation Officer and District Officers of the concerned departments besides Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDM) Sumbal, SDM Gurez and Tehsildar Gurez, attended virtually.
