Baramulla : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, on Wednesday felicitated officers and officials for their outstanding performance and dedication in the smooth conduct of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections 2024.
In a special felicitation ceremony held at DC office Baramulla, the DC acknowledged the relentless efforts of officers and staff in ensuring free, fair and peaceful elections in the district. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to several officials for their outstanding contributions.
Among the officers and officials felicitated were Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Shabir Ahmed Raina; ADC Baramulla, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Raina; Joint Director Planning, Javed Ahmad; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gulmarg, Altaf Hussain Masavi; SDM Pattan, Gulzar Ahmed Rather; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Arshad Khan; Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla, Shabir Ahmed Hakak; Deputy District Election Officer Baramulla, Abdul Rehman Bhat; District Information Officer Baramulla, Iftikhar Naseem; Naib Tehsildar (NT) Election, Mohammed Malik, Media Coordinator Baramulla, Shahzad Ahmad.
Speaking at the occasion, the DC lauded the dedication and professionalism of the officials, emphasizing their crucial role in upholding democratic values and ensuring seamless electoral processes.
Minga Sherpa further expressed gratitude for their hard work and commitment, contributing significantly towards the successful execution of the democratic process.
