Day-2: Distt admin B’gam intensifies clearing legacy waste, special cleanliness drives

Budgam : In continuation to its efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the district, the District Administration Budgam, in collaboration with the Rural Development Department & Municipal Councils, carried out special cleanliness drive on Wednesday Day-2 of the special campaign to clear legacy waste.
The drive was carried out at Panchayat Khag A&B, Panchayat Soibugh B&C, Panchayat Rassu, Panchayat Rawalpora, all BDO Office and RDD complex Budgam.
Meanwhile, MC Magam successfully completed the Swachhata Painting at multiple locations, including at Municipal Committee Magam, boundary wall of Boys Hr Sec School Magam, public wall at Ferozepur Nalla, SDPO Office and SDH Magam.
Special sanitation drive was conducted in and around mosques and Imambara Magam.
The drive, which is part of the ongoing ‘Cleanliness & Clearance of Legacy Waste’ initiative, focused on clearing waste, garbage and debris from public spaces, roads, and water bodies.
Teams of officials from the District Administration and Rural Development Department, along with local volunteers, participated in the drive.
The District Administration Budgam is focussed on its commitment towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment for its citizens.
