Search and evacuation of remaining 07 labourers is still in progress . Besides army personnel, engineering plant equipment, avalanche rescue radars and helicopters are being employed to enhance the rescue efforts.

Indian Army doctors on-site have performed life-saving surgeries for those in dire need, while helicopter operations from the Joshimath helipad are in full swing using eight helicopters from Indian Army Aviation and the Air Force. Total 19 persons have been evacuated from Mana to Joshimath so far.
