He added, “This fight for the progress of Delhi and the rights of Delhiites – against pollution, inflation and corruption – will continue”.

Meanwhile, Delhi Congress Chief Devender Yadav said that the mandate was a clear indication that the people of Delhi have rejected Arvind Kejriwal’s politics of lies and deceit.

Taking to X, Yadav said, “All the soldiers of the Congress party fought the battle for justice very strongly but the results were not in our favour”.

Yadav said that the shortcomings and mistakes would be reviewed. The party will continue to work for the people of Delhi and will be with them every time.

The grand old party could not open its account in the Delhi assembly election despite putting up candidates like Sandeep Dikshit, Alka Lamba and Ragini Naik.
